Singapore Day 6
Hahaha...sooooo sorry people for being in such a long hiatus...Been busy and now lecturers are pouring even more assignments over us like there is no tomorrow. lolz...
On the last day of Singapore, I had Indian dinner with my aunt. She had always wanted to visit this place but no teman hahaha. Vivo City is a great place for meals. No Japanese food cuz they are always the same : P well almost.
Go India Restaurant is located along the row of restaurants in Vivocity. Not bad for a change XD
The view was great and inside the restaurant was extremely cold. facing Harbourfront! (even Vivo City building itself) We sat outside instead : P Seems durian pancake and handmade noodles (lunch) didn't provide enough heat for us XD
During ordering I saw this...
Saffron!!! Hahaha straight away I place an order for this. lolz.. After placing orders, they served papadam.
=.= was my first reaction. It's burnt. Anyway it taste ok maybe a bit too much heat from the pepper. Yes, its pepper loaded.
I wasn't sure what's the red sauce but the green one is mint. Yumz.. Then comes the prawns.
If I am not mistaken it called something prawn with nutmeg and ginger, no sign of nutmeg also. Nonetheless, its fresh, huge, succulent and salty. Hahaha who say all good comment must be placed together? Yeah salty. Maybe its meant to be eaten with rice. A while later, stuffed mushroom with cheese was served.
Yeah...I was wondering the same thing! Mushroom stuffed with cheese? Indian?! Indeed its Indian. How 'katak di bawah tempurung' was I. I forgot northern Indians make their own cheese. hahaha. Thanks Durianberry for telling me.
Yeah! Stuff with cheese to the brim and extra melted mozarella on top!! Sooo delicious!
Shortly, rice arrived. I was like woah...so arromatic!
People, this is vege, rice, spice and everything nice : ) Long grain rice rocks! So fluffy and light. Felt like eating bee hoon XD
We also ordered mutton curry which taste superb....not very spicy, rich and a bit sweet sourish. Dunno la we just wallop half plate of the mutton. Hahaha. Didn't take picture...Was too hungry XD
To finish off, we shared a pot of Masala Tea. Just like Aunty Lilian, I also thought it a tea drink with weird spice taste. It doesn't and was damn good.
Thick, smooth, rich with milk but still can taste the tea. Woah...*swoon* My ultimate cup of 'teh' lolz...I wonder they do it the traditional way that is boiling the tea in water then add in milk to the boiling tea. Simply fabulicious.
Happy drooling!
